The path forward has to between just say no and just say yes.

The path forward has to be just get the rules right.  We need mandatory and enforced set of rules that limits and in some cases completely erases the environmental disadvantages and make sure we get the full benefits that natural gas has to offer.

Beyond the rules on natural gas, which need to cover the water and the air impacts and protect local citizens, we also need the right rules on our whole electric system so that we don’t lock in the use of more natural gas than we need to.  We need to facilitate more energy efficiency – more renewables and getting those rules right is another important part of the picture.
