The image above depicts an extreme dieting procedure performed by the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Nikolas Chugay. The idea is to make eating solid food so painful that dieters will be forced to stick with a liquid diet.
Dr. Chugay has performed the $2,000 procedure on over 60 women since 2009. Dr. Chugay’s website boasts that the so-called “Miracle Patch” procedure is much cheaper than other extreme weight-loss solutions such as a gastric bypass.
