Henry Rollins: Homophobia is an Endangered Species in America

While President Obama’s position on gay marriage is “evolving,” (UPDATE: has officially evolved) punk rocker Henry Rollins is unambiguous about his support. Rollins sees gay rights as civil rights, and when he encounters homophobia, he says “it’s that straw that breaks the camel’s back.” In other words, when Rollins witnesses this type of discrimination, just like racism he goes “real hard, real loud against it.”


That’s why as long as he’s around, Rollins says “homophobia is an endangered species in America.”
