Smog Suffocates Singapore

According to Singapore’s National Environment Agency, the city’s three-hour Pollutant Standards Index rose to an all-time high of 371.

This photo depicts the smog hanging over Singapore. Conditions today have become so hazardous that business activities in the city-state, a major commercial center, are starting to grind to a halt. 


Fast-food deliveries have been cancelled. The army has even suspended training activities. Drug stores and supermarkets have run out of face masks. 

According to Singapore’s National Environment Agency, the city’s Pollutant Standards Index rose to an all-time high of 371.
