A teen forced into his own car by an abductor, whose accomplices followed in another vehicle, was able to surreptitiously foil their kidnap plans by texting his father to tell him what had happened. The five would-be snatchers were busted in a Safeway parking lot near an intersection of 28th Street and Iris Avenue of Boulder in Denver. The suspects were arrested in charges of first degree kidnapping and felony menacing. Their capture has been credited to the victim’s quick thinking and even quicker thumbs.
