Gung-ho, blustery entrepreneurs are a dime a dozen. But how many of them would be willing to take a bullet for their product — literally? The From Istanbul to Sand Hill Road blog shares the story and amazing photo of a bullet-proof vest entrepreneur who was willing to put his money where his mouth was — if you look carefully at the center of the photo, you’ll see a guy in a fedora staring down the business end of a small handgun:

“You know you are a true entrepreneur when you are willing to take a

bullet for your product.  The man in the photo, a bullet proof vest

maker, is.  This is a great photo.  If I had a higher quality copy, I’d

give it to every entrepreneur I’ve worked with. Bonus question:  Which Silicon Valley restaurant used to display

this picture prominently?  For some reason they moved it a few years

ago.  Luckily a friend had taken the photo for me.”
