Google Phone Better Than iPhone?

“Apple’s legions of devotees should brace their hipster selves for an inevitable fall from grace,” says Dennis Kneale at the Daily Beast after sampling Google’s yet-unreleased smartphone. While Apple once fought the Evil Empire of Microsoft, now Google finds itself battling an Apple that is obsessed with control and closed-source programming. “One year from now,” predicts Knealse, “the iPhone will lose its perch as the world’s most important mobile platform, toppled by Android, the ‘open,’ all-comers-welcome design from Apple’s avowed enemy, Google.”
