Innovations for rural areas

There is agreat need for innovations for rural areas. Since the energy and material resources available are scarce and in dilute forms there is a great need to produce very high technologies for these areas.

However any innovations for rural areas should be done with a new thinking on how to curb our greed for resources. With reduction in our consumptive lifestyle huge resources can be made available for rural poor which can raise their quality of life.
