If you are against AI or just have decided that you do not want to learn how to use these tools, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice. We’re at a very critical point in human history where things are about to change dramatically and, really fast. And for people that are caught up or not paying attention, you know, they’re going to get left behind and I think it’s going to improve a lot of industries, health care, education, definitely comedy. I think a lot of people don’t realize that, we’re in the AI revolution. Like, it’s we’re like, it’s presently here, and it’s only going to get more advanced.
Invest time
For me, I just felt that, one, this is the future. The present and the future, you know? And I realized that, AI isn’t going anywhere. I just felt that I need to put majority of my attention into learning and, building with these tools. So, that’s what I did. I put in my 10,000 hours making comedy music. You know, I put in, I’ve generated over 30,000 images in Midjourney. You know, I would, when ChatGPT first came out, I was prompting eight hours a day. There was no way to cheat that process. You have to learn, and you have to be disciplined. But the rewards are so great. Once you get over that threshold, you know, it becomes second nature. So, you have to be, you know, a student of the game, and if you do that, you’ll create something remarkable.
Stay up to date
The tools are advancing at an exponential rate. The things that are people are using right now, three months, six months from now, they’ll probably be obsolete. And on top of that, every week a new tool comes out. The best thing you can do for yourself right now is just start understanding and using AI so you’re comfortable using it. Like, you don’t have to be an expert at it, but at least know how to use the tools if, you know, a new tool comes out you’re not intimidated by it. You know, you could be like, okay, I can dive into this. I know how to prompt. I know how to ask the right questions and I know how to find the tools that are out there. Every day, pretty much, I’m like looking on the web, seeing what’s out, what’s new, what are the new tools that they’re adding, what are the new workflows. So that way, you know exactly what you’re able to actually make.
For job seekers, it’s imperative that you learn how to use these tools. It’s essentially the equivalent of not knowing how to use Microsoft Office or Gmail right? Because, we’re at that point now. You don’t know how to use a large language model, you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage because your competition will know how to use it. So, if I’m hiring somebody, if I want to have my business be the most optimized it could be, I need people with skills, and I need people that know how to use AI.
