Katy Börner

Katy Börner is the Victor H. Yngve Distinguished Professor of Information Science and Intelligent Systems Engineering in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering; founding director of the Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science (CNS) Center; and Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit curator, all at Indiana University. She has held visiting professor appointments at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in the Netherlands; the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Switzerland; and the Technical University in Germany. Her research focuses on the development of data analysis and visualization techniques for information access, understanding, and management.
