Here’s the deal: $30 billion for 40,000 border agents, 700 miles of fencing and aerial drones to guard the U.S.-Mexico border. This is the deal the “Gang of eight” senators announced today. They will offer these provisions in an amendment in the hope of winning support for an immigration reform bill.
